The Colorado Landlord Legislative Coalition is celebrating! In the days leading up to the end of the legislative session, our group played a huge role in the battle against HB23-1171 Just Cause Eviction, which effectively died.
Since Sunday was a full day, the bill was not heard for its first Senate vote, and the legislative session ended Monday, there was not enough time for proper voting, and the bill was killed.
Our team would like to thank all of our members who donated to the CLLC, as your donations enable us to work with William Mutch, our lobbyist liaison! During this session, William worked long hours, was diligent, knowledgeable, and kept us informed. We are very grateful for William’s continued hard work on behalf of the CLLC and Colorado Landlords.
